McDonnell With Momentum, Deeds With Hope

(Leesburg, VA) -- Republican Virginia gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell is hoping a wave of momentum will carry him into the governor's mansion. Today is the general election and McDonnell leads his Democratic opponent, Creigh Deeds in most polls and in some polls by double digits. At an event in Leesburg Sunday, McDonnell rallied his campaign workers and supporters. Deeds criss-crossed the Commonwealth Monday and held his final campaign rally last night at Market Square in Old Town Alexandria. Deeds says his supporters will hold out hope and reminds them he has been down in the polls before.
