(Woonsocket, RI) -- Woonsocket-based CVS is launching a major campaign which promises to make it worth your while to go green. The company is using a green bag tag, a bag that CVS customers can buy for 99-cents with the tag attached. Whenever a customer makes a purchase and uses the bag, the tag will be scanned. After four scans, customers will receive a coupon worth one-dollar. CVS officials came up with the idea to get consumers to use more reusable bags or just decline plastic bags altogether.
