Joe Francis Sentenced To Probation For Tax Evasion And Bribery

(Los Angeles, CA) -- A federal judge in Los Angeles has sentenced "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis to 301 days already served and a year of probation in his tax evasion and jail bribery case. The "Los Angeles Times" reports the soft-porn mogul pleaded guilty in September to two misdemeanor counts of filing false tax returns and bribing jail workers for food by giving them up to five-thousand dollars in goods. Francis was also ordered to pay nearly 250-thousand dollars in restitution to the IRS.
