(Los Angeles, CA) -- Comedian Paul Rodriguez joined the governor and legislators Friday in support of the 40-billion-dollar Water Infrastructure Improvement Project signed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Rodriguez stood out in the crowd and explained what he was doing there. He said, quote, "I do some farming outside of Fresno and when the water problem became very acute we got together and formed the Latino Water Coalition to figure out what we can do." He added, quote, "We found a friend in Sacramento and the governor was able to use his muscle, both figuratively and metaphorically, to wrangle these people together." Rodriguez urged support from voters to approve an eleven-point-one-billion-dollar bond measure next year to get the project going.
