(Long Beach, CA) -- Two suspected gang members were charged as adults for the shooting death of a 16-year-old Melody Ross after the Wilson High School homecoming game last Friday night. The L.A. County District Attorney's Office says 16-year-old Tom Love Vinson of Bellflower and 16-year-old Daivion Davis of Long Beach were each charged with murder and attempted murder. Police say Ross, an honors student at Wilson High, was an innocent bystander when two rival gangs got into a fight after the homecoming football game. The complaint alleges Vinson fired the handgun and that both he and Davis, committed the crimes for the sake of their street gang. They are each being held on three million dollars bail.
