(Los Angeles, CA) -- A doctor was found guilty Monday of reckless driving, assault, battery and mayhem in connection with a bike rage incident in Brentwood in July, 2008. The crash on Mandeville Canyon Road left two cyclists with serious injuries. Prosecutors alleged Dr. Christopher Thompson intentionally slammed on the brakes of his Infinity sedan in front of two cyclists on the road. One cyclist went flying through the car's rear window. He ended up with broken teeth, facial cuts, and a broken, nearly severed nose. The second cyclist landed on the pavement and suffered a shoulder separation that required surgery. Thompson faces a maximum sentence of ten years in state prison.
