Man Shot in Silver Spring

(Montgomery County, MD) -- Montgomery County police are investigating a shooting outside a Gold's Gym in Silver Spring. The victim was walking in the 86-hundred block of Colesville Road when he was approached by two men, who attempted to rob him. After fighting them off, one of the suspects shot the victim in the leg. He's being treated for non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
