Cox Northern Virginia is committed to caring for the environment. As part of the national Cox Conserves initiative, we're taking steps to help reduce our local carbon footprint.  This includes the removal of Styrofoam cups from all of our facilities, the introduction of a new power management program for our computers, and the purchase of a number of hybrid vehicles for our fleet. We even have one of the first hybrid bucket trucks in the area! Cox is always looking for ways to help our neighbors reduce their carbon footprint, which is why we held a free electronic recycling event earlier this year. This open house provided an opportunity for the area residents to recycle their outdated electronics in an environmentally responsible way and collected more than 117,000 pounds of materials.
