(Baton Rouge, LA) -- A joint legislative committee has unanimously approved the establishment of a new satellite early-voting location in New Orleans. The Orleans Parish Voting Machine Warehouse will be outfitted to accommodate the voting center and will be in operation for the February city elections. That means early voting at the center will be held from January 23rd to January 30th. Secretary of State Jay Dardenne says the site was chosen because it's safe, easily accessible, and has ample parking.
