(Atlanta, GA) -- Clark Atlanta University has been slapped with a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the parents of Jasmine Lynn, a Spelman College student who was struck and killed by a stray bullet on September 3rd while walking on the CAU campus near downtown Atlanta. Lynn's mother, Constance Franklin, says the suit is not aimed at getting money, but making the campus safe so that other families do not have to go through a tragedy. The suit says Lynn's death could have been prevented if Clark Atlanta had provided better security. Devonni Benton, a 21-year-old ITT Technical Institute student, has been charged in Lynn's shooting.
