Coyote Concerns In Downtown Douglasville

11-05-2009 03:35 AM EST | By ###Don Dornberg/ab
(Douglasville, GA) -- The coyote population in Douglasville is becoming downright brazen. Douglasville City Councilman John Schildroth says he saw two coyotes cross Rose Avenue near downtown recently. City Manager Bill Osborne says packs of coyotes have been seen running in Hunter Park and then emerging from the back of the courthouse though a culvert and then into the downtown area. Police Chief Chis Womack says there have been no reports of coyote aggression.
