Forced Closure Of 30 Mortgage Modification Companies

(Las Vegas, NV) -- Residents attempting to have a mortgage modified are being asked to use caution. Reports show 30 mortgage modification companies were forced to shut down after a state investigation proved they were missing requirements needed to offer modification services. Officials say homeowners who are doing business with the companies that are closing may not receive all of their money back. Concerned residents can visit the Nevada Department of Business & Industry Division of Mortgage Lending's website to see what companies are being forced to close.
