The Opportunity Project (TOP) receives a $45,000 Technology Grant from Cox.

Cox Communications awarded The Opportunity Project a $45,000 technology grant to purchase computers for its newest school, TOP Northwest, located at 29th and Arkansas. This is the second grant TOP has received from Cox in the past two years.
Cox has become a key partner in the success of TOP Early Learning Centers, sharing in their commitment to provide a high-quality early childhood education to underprivileged children in Wichita. These technology grants have allowed their schools to remain current and deliver exposure to technology that most teachers and students would not have access to. As a result of the grant, nearly 125 children and 20 staff will have access to state-of-the-art technology, helping prepare these at-risk students for success in kindergarten.
A check presentation ceremony was held at TOP Northwest on January 17th. A group of TOP children also presented Cox with a token of their appreciation. The event was incorporated into the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's monthly meeting held at TOP Northwest.
