Educational Opportunities for Area Youth
Cox Hampton Roads works with several organizations within the community to enhance and improve educational opportunities for young people in the region. Cox awards scholarships to deserving students through partner organizations such as Access College and the Virginia's Future Leaders Scholarship Program of the Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association (VCTA).
Boys & Girls Clubs of America
To help bridge the digital divide, Cox provides local Boys & Girls Clubs of America with free or discounted high-speed internet and cable service.
Cable in the Classroom
Cox Communications is a founding member of Cable in the Classroom, a non-profit organization that provides commercial-free programming and online resources to teachers and administrators in 81,000 public and private schools.
