(Alexandria, LA) -- Police have arrested a woman accused of leaving her two-year-old son home alone while she went into a neighborhood in Alexandria to burglarize vehicles. Authorities say 31-year-old Stacey Bordelon had been seen checking doors of vehicles to see if they were locked. Police say officers located Bordelon and asked her about items seen in her car. Bordelon reportedly told the officers she had taken the items from a car parked nearby. Bordelon faces charges that include child desertion and vehicle burglary. The Office of Community Services was contacted when the boy was found sleeping in his bedroom.
