Police Officer Dies From Injuries Suffered In Crash

(New Orleans, LA) -- A New Orleans police officer involved in a crash last month has died. A police department spokeswoman says 44-year-old Abreace Daniel died this week of complications from injuries he suffered during the crash. Authorities say Daniel was critically injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car in eastern New Orleans. No citations were issued, but the accident is still under investigation.
