11-03-2009 08:38 AM CST | By ###Todd Dunne/ml
(Baton Rouge, LA) -- The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals says six more people in the state have died in the last week of complications from the H1N1 virus. That now brings the H1N1 flu death toll in Louisiana to 30. Four of those who died were from the Lafayette area, one was from the Lake Charles area, and one was a resident of the area north of Lake Pontchartrain. DHH officials say H1N1 vaccine continues to arrive in the state every five to ten days. More than 253-thousand doses have been delivered so far.
