Inmate Captured After Escape

(New Orleans, LA) -- Authorities say an inmate in the custody of the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's office has been captured after he walked away Monday morning from a prison security detail. Authorities say 20-year-old Shawn Francis walked off a kitchen detail at the parish Security Complex, but there's no word on how Francis was able to escape the facility. He was caught later on the Xavier University campus after a campus police officer spotted him in his prison orange jumpsuit.
