Child Arrested For Halloween Candy Hold Up

(Stamford, CT) -- A 12-year-old Stamford boy has been arrested after he allegedly shot another child with a BB gun in an apparent candy robbery on Halloween. Police say the unidentified child gunman committed the armed robbery at an apartment complex on Connecticut Avenue. The 12-year-old was arrested after two victims identified him to police. One was shot in the back with the BB gun, but was not seriously injured. The suspect is charged with second degree assault, attempted first degree larceny and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.<
