Southbury Man Dies In Police Custody

(Southbury, CT) -- A 24-year-old man has died after he suffered from some kind of medical issue after being taken into State Police custody in Southbury. Police say the incident began early Monday morning, when they were called to a home on Winterwood Road for a domestic dispute. They found Timothy Napoli in an agitated state, and he stopped breathing after he was placed in handcuffs. He was rushed to Waterbury Hospital and was pronounced dead. Napoli's body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
