(Cleveland, OH) -- Cleveland City Council President Matt Sweeney will keep his post. Councilman Matt Zone was unsuccessful Thursday in his bid to take what is thought to be the second most powerful job at Cleveland City Hall. Zone conceded defeat just hours before a scheduled caucus vote for president was to take place. In the end, Sweeney got 18 out of 19 possible votes for the top spot.
