Learn how to disable popups in Firefox.
Solution
Note: This topic addresses selectively permitting or denying popups on a site-by-site basis. To enable or disable popups from all sites, see Enabling/Disabling popups.
By default, popups are disabled in the Firefox browser.
To permit popups from a given site:
- Open Firefox.
- Click Tools, select Options .

- Click on the Web Features icon in the Options window:

- Click on Allowed Sites.

- Enter the site address that you wish to permit popups from:
- Click Allow. The popup enabled site appears in the pane underneath.

- Click OK.
- All steps complete.
To deny popups from a given site that you have previously enabled:
- Open Firefox.
- Click Tools, select Options .

- Click on the Web Features icon in the Options window:

- Click on Allowed Sites.

- Click on the site address that you no longer wish to allow popups from:

- Click Remove Site . The blocked site is deleted from the list.
- Click OK.
