Cox Digital Interactive ER1 Remote Control

To set the volume controls to control volume for a specified device regardless of the last-selected mode button, perform the following steps:

1. Point the remote control away from all devices.
   
2. Press and hold the SELECT button and the CBL button until the LED on the remote blinks twice.
   

3. Using the number buttons, enter 9 - 9 - 3.
   
   Result: The LED on the remote blinks twice.
   

4. Press the CBL button or the TV button depending on which device you want the volume controls to control.

   Result:

   • The LED on the remote blinks twice. 
   • The volume controls control only the device associated with the mode button you selected, regardless of the current mode.
     

   All steps complete.
