Configuring Anonymous Call Rejection

Last Updated: Fri, 02 Sep 2011 > Related Articles

Summary

Learn how to reject calls from callers that have blocked their caller ID from being displayed using the Anonymous Call Rejection feature of VoiceManager.

Solution

Anonymous Call Rejection enables you to reject calls from anonymous parties that have explicitly restricted their Caller ID. By activating the service via VoiceManager, callers without available caller identification are informed that you are not accepting calls at that time. Your phone will not ring and you will have no indication of the attempted call.

To configure Anonymous Call Rejection, use the steps below.

1

Click the Services link in the toolbar.

2

Click the Anonymous Call Rejection link.

3

Select the On radio button if you want to reject unkonwn callers from reaching you.

4

Select the Off radio button if you want to accept unknown callers from reaching you.

5

Click the OK button to save.
