Follow these steps to turn off antivirus warnings in Windows XP, service pack 2.

Solution

  1. Right Click the Security Center Icon in the System Tray
  2. Select Open Security Center.
  3. Within the Virus Protection area click the Recommendations button.
  4. Uncheck I have an antivirus program that I'll monitor myself.
