Setup TCP/IP for Mac

Follow these steps:

1. From the desktop, choose the Apple^® icon > Control Panels > TCP/IP.  
2. In the Connect via field, choose Ethernet.  
3. In the Configure field, choose Using DHCP Server.  
4. On the toolbar at the top of the screen, choose Edit > User Mode.  
5. Click the Advanced radio button and click OK.  
6. Click Options, click the Active radio button, and ensure that Load only when needed is not checked (click to un-check if necessary). Click OK.  
7. Click Close in the upper left-hand corner and choose Save to save the settings.
