Data Support

If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) or earlier:

1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
2. If in Classic View, double-click on Network Connections.  If in Category View, click on Network and Internet Connections and then click Network Connections.
3. Right-click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. Remove the check mark for "Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet.
6. Click OK then Click Yes on the confirmation window.

If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2):

1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
2. If in Classic View, double-click on Network Connections.  If in Category View, click on Network and Internet Connections and then click Network Connections.
3. Right-click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. Click Setup.
6. Select "Turn Off" and click OK.
7. Click Yes on the confirmation window.

The Windows XP firewall is now disabled.
