Solution
With the Cox Digital Interactive AT8400 Remote Control, you can reassign mode buttons, such as the AUX or VCR button, to operate in a different mode. The button then operates devices associated with the new mode.
After reassigning a button, you can also program the button to operate a different device. For additional information, refer to Program the Cox Digital Interactive AT8400 Remote Control for a TV, DVD, VCR, or Stereo Receiver.
Note: The TV button and the CBL buttons cannot be reassigned
Cox Digital Interactive AT8400 Remote Control
Using the number buttons, enter 9 - 9 - 2.
Result: The CBL mode button blinks twice.
- Press the mode button of the type of device you want to control.
- Press the mode button you want to reassign.
For example:
• To program the AUX mode button to operate in VCR mode, press VCR and then AUX.
• To program the VCR button to operate in TV mode, press TV and then VCR.
Result: All mode buttons blink three times.
