Solution
The Cisco DPC3010 is a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem. If this modem is used with the Ultimate Internet, only available in limited markets, and a Microsoft operating system other than Vista or Windows 7, the registry keys must be updated to enable maximum speed performance.

After the cable modem is successfully registered on the network, the POWER, DS, US, and ONLINE indicators illuminate continuously to indicate that the cable modem is online and fully operational. For more details, refer to the Modem Lights section.
Back View

The Cisco DPC3010 has the following ports available on the back of the modem:
- POWER - Connects the cable modem to the power adapter.
- ETHERNET - Connects to the Ethernet port on your computer.
- USB - Connects to the USB port on your computer.
Note: Some models may not include USB. - RESET - Used to reset the modem.
- CABLE - Connects to the cable wall outlet.
